It’s a rainy day in Barcelona, but that didn’t dampen the fun. It’s a national holiday in Barcelona today – Happy Columbus Day!
Lots of shops are closed today, so Julie and I walked down to the Christopher Columbus statue. He’s pointing west toward our home.
As we walked along the Mediterranean Sea, Julie and I enjoyed:
The Port Barcelona area:
Art Installations by Roy Lichtenstein, a Pablo Picasso, and some funny langostino shrimpy thing.
We drank coffee, shared churros y chocolate, and ate Catalonian cheese. Life is good.
