It’s Christmas Week. Our wanderings took us (very appropriately for the season) to the basilica of Sagrada Familia, which means “Holy Family”.

And for fun…here are a few of the Christmas lights that are up in the Barcelona neighborhoods of: El Born, El Gotic, and L’Eixample.

Julie and I wish you a wonderful Christmas Holiday.

I miss those beautiful Christmas lights! Be sure to try Sopa de Galets on the 25th and Canneloni on the 26th (St.Stephen’s). And sample as much turron as possible! There is a wonderful place, Pasteleria Baixas, on C/Muntaner, that makes delicious turron and also offers Christmas and St.Stephen’s menus for catering. They also make a terrific Galician empanada wonderful for snacking while regarding their many other temptations!
    Bon Nadal!!
